He is also the director of information technology for Phillips Architecture, an architecture and design firm based in Raleigh, NC. Trained as an architect, Suydam also manages DesignFacilitator, a software startup offering Web-based design applications for commercial interior designers. Suydam keeps occupied studying Yankees baseball, chasing his two toddlers around and remodeling his house.
